ReAMS
ReAMS is the acronym for Real time Administration and Management System.
Q. What does it do?
A. The Real Time Administration and Management System enables management and front line staff to instantaneously communicate with each other.
Management therefore has timely information about the state of the business and where it is heading and therefore make better decisions.
Q. Will it save the organisation money, i.e. cut costs?
A. Yes. The system will reduce the cost of paper used by approximately fifty per cent. Since much of staff time is used up in "paper shuffling," this time will be reduced.
Q. Will the system involve extra expenditure on computers and technology?
A. Not necessarily. The existing computers and servers already in use by your organisation are already capable of running real time applications.
However, the software to enable instantaneous reporting of e.g. production flow; cash flow etc. would have to be customised for the particular organisation.
